A Vision Becoming Reality
It was the beginning of the year 2014, and I had already been involved with running A/V and being a musician on stage for live concert style events with audiences between 2000-3000, for about 5 years. I had been blessed to be able to have a platform to express who I was from both the stage and in the sound booth. In February of 2014, I stepped away from my previous job and True Expression was born.
Three Becomes One
Starting as True Expression Music and True Expression Audio simultaneously in February 2014, then adding photography a few years later, I decided to re-brand everything under the name True Expression, as this name was reflective of the vision for all three artistic branches within this umbrella.
From The Inside Out
I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to help you bring forth the artistry that's inside you. Whether it's creating music, producing live music or capturing your artistry through photos and videos, my heart it is to help bring what's inside of you to the outside, so that you can share it with the ones you love, those around and to all of the world!
The Founder
Andrew was born and raised in San Francisco and began playing various musical instruments at a young age. While not classically trained, Andrew has been teaching private music lessons over the last 10 years, equipping his students to be able to create and express themselves through their own music. Andrew has also been an A/V professional for almost 10 years and is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), having attained his license in November 2016. Andrew's first experience with photography was a high school class in 1999, where he was first exposed to single lens reflex (SLR) cameras and developing his own black & white film. Since then, with the improvement of technology, he has moved on to Digital SLR's. Andrew has had the opportunity to do business photo shoots and also film weddings.
